Advertising your services or products on the Internet is
both extremely effective and extremely competitive. There
are several ways to go about attracting traffic to your
website; Pay-Per-Click is one of the options you can choose
from, along with developing an SEO, or search engine

targeted to get your website placed as close to the top of

example, if your site made $5,000 in profits and there were
2,5000 hits, each visitor would be theoretically worth 50
cents. The basic formula is profits divided by visitors.

The figure of 50 cents per visitor is the point at which
your business breaks even. The idea, of course, is to show
a profit, not to merely cover your costs. Therefore, you
are aiming at a figure less than 50 cents per click.

Be aware that the most popular keywords often cost
considerably more than 50 cents a click. The only way
around this is to bid less for these phrases or you will be
paying too much for each individual hit.

The key (pun intended) to success is to learn everything
you can about search engine keyword research. The good news
is there isn't a limit to the amount of keywords you can
add to your bid because additional keywords do not add
additional cost. This translates into a lot less hassle for
you because there is no need to optimize your site to index
a particular set of keywords.

Obviously, some keywords are much more effective than
others are, but they will not cost you anything except time
to set-up your account in your pay-per-click bid. Of the
popular search engines that offer pay-per-click, one called

keywords after you enter a description of your site.

If you have a computer, an internet connection and a few minutes of time, you can make some money online. Yes, it is that easy - but there’s a catch.

The hard part – and this is what other articles don’t tell you – the hard part is that what you’ll make each time is probably either going to be very little, or very infrequent.

Let me give you an example. Do you want to make $10 right now? Well, one way is to sign up with an online casino. Most will give an incentive for first-time members, usually in the region of $20. The condition is that this money will be required to be placed in a bet before it can be withdrawn. All you need to do is to place two bets of $10 each on odds of 50-50 and you’ll have at a 75% chance of making at least $10. 25% of the time you’ll make $20.

#1 - Write articles Ok so the first way to get traffic is not particularly unique. But the fact is that you will get lots of traffic by writing articles. The traffic wont come immediately but it will come. Articles will also bring link popularity. I wouldnt be doing my job if I wrote about free traffic and neglected to mention articles. If you write one article a week for the next year at the end of that year you will have an unstoppable flow of traffic and where there is traffic money follows.

#2 - Post ads on other peoples sites. Now youre probably thinking tell me something I dont know but think about this for a moment. If there is a site that has a lot of traffic, gets spidered frequently and has excellent page rank. Do you think pages on that site get good search engine rankings You know! Here in the UK there is a site called UK Free Ads. It has an Alexa rank of about 20,000 and, you guessed it, you can place ads on it for free. All you have to do is find your equivalent of UK Free Ads then find a keyword phrase without too much competition and write an ad optimized for the keyword phrase. Im not guaranteeing a top ten listing but a percentage of the ads you write will place well in Google and other each engines. You might even get a number one position. The best of these sites allow your url to be included in the listing. But better than that some of them allow you to upgrade your listing and have that listing redirect to the url you supply. Top Tip: Wait until the page has been spidered and ranks well then upgrade and have the listing redirect to your web page.

#3 - Get your site mentioned in mailings from complimentary sites in return for you mentioning theirs. Youre going to need a list for this. But assuming you have one why not contact other site owners with a list and ask them to mention your site in their next mailing. In return you mention their site in your next mail. This doesnt have to be a heavy sell, just a mention of a friends site. At worst this strategy will put your site url in front of a lot of people who may not have heard of you. At best you will get a lot of free visitors. This strategy should work out just fine if you partner with a site that isnt in direct competition with you.

#4 - Instead of just trading links why not trade home page links or ads. Next time you visit a site and they have a space for an ad and are inviting you to buy that space, why not contact them and offer to exchange the ad space for a similar position on your site. Or why not barter an ad for a mention to your mailing list. A lot of smaller sites have trouble selling their ad space, but these same sites still have respectable traffic flows.

#5 - The last free traffic tip is probably the hardest to pull off but also the most regarding. The strategy is to offer something of real value for free. I'm going to be shooting you a series of lessons a friend of mine is giving me. Her il and keep looking for 'the secret'. (let me know if you find it)

Assuming you're willing to put in some groundwork, build your
foundation on solid ground, then you can be successful online.

What do you need? Where do you start? How do you begin?

You need to do 3 things. That's all. And none of them are rocket science!

1.) Start branding yourself. If you want to generate leads, sign up people to your business, then they need to trust you and know who you are!

2.) Offer value to others. Nobody is going to take you seriously unless you prove yourself to them. And you do that by offering them value, teaching what you know, giving your time and advice so others can duplicate your success.

3.) In order to pay for your costs (advertising, hosting, autoresponder, etc) you need a good funded proposal that you can sell to folks, even if they never join your business. This pays your costs so when people do join your business, that money is pure profit!

That's pretty much it folks. There really isn't much more to it than this. Don't be
fooled into thinking there is. Don't put yourself down before you've even started.

Of course, how you brand yourself, how you offer value, how you keep your costs down,
how you know a good funded proposal from a bad one... these are all things you need to learn.
And that is where the 'work' comes in!

Are you prepared to work? Are you ready to learn how to generate leads for free?
Are you willing to study copy writing instead of watching TV? Are you serious about
building a business? Or are you just looking for something to fill in your spare time?

You will only get out of this business what you put in. Make no mistake on that.
I'm not talking about money. Though you will need to invest some money if you want
to make more! I'm talking about time, effort, brain power, reading, talking, listening...

If you are wanting to do something about our national gas prices click on that banner up top. read the site. It's pretty pretty amazing and is on it's way. It was sent to me by a friend and I thought I would share it with you. A lot of money will be made with this. I signed up as a free affiliate because I do not have the money to join programs, but I like this one. I try to do everything I can to save our planet. We all need to do things. Even small things help. Check it out and see what it is all about.

The things I am learning today about network marketing are incredible. Every ones ideas sound good so you just need to pick out the one you think will work for you.
I like to use safe lists. Another good one is Traffic Exchanges if you have the patience for them. I can only take them so long, then I have to go back to my safe lists. I'm putting together three more blogs. One will have all my safe lists and traffic exchanges on them. Fine-Tune Your 30-Second Commercial and Get Your Net . . . Working!

Whether you’re an old pro at MLM or a newcomer, one thing’s for sure... networking is an essential part of building your business. The more well-known you are in the business community, and the more people who know about you and your business, the more referrals you are likely to receive. Networking provides the exposure you need and is especially important for those who work at home to keep them from becoming too isolated.

The contacts you develop through networking continue to grow and expand until you have a web connecting you to potential clients throughout the community. When your net starts working, you’ll begin receiving calls from people you’ve never met, who are associates of associates. It just goes on and on. To facilitate this happening, you must tell everyone you meet who you are and what you do.

Most of us are shy about tooting our own horn. But when you’re in business, especially your own business, you must learn to toot your horn regularly.

Develop a 30-second commercial which simply and concisely explains what you do as well as the benefits of your products. Make sure it’s easy to understand. Here’s a sample:

“Hi, I’m Sue Brown, an executive with the Maximum Energy Company. I market a line of natural herbal supplements that make you feel great and help you lose weight quickly and safely. I also offer a complete business system for women who would like to learn how to earn a good part-time income working out of their home.”

To prepare your 30-second commercial, make a list of the benefits of your service or product and incorporate them into a description of your business. Use the above for an example. Test it out on an associate to make sure it’s clear. Then practice, practice, practice.

When you meet someone, whether it's in an elevator, at a business mixer, association meeting or business luncheon, your 30-second commercial quickly tells them who you are.

Then you can find out who they are and exchange business cards. Your goal at mixers and trade shows is to connect with as many prospects as possible, so limit your contact time to about five minutes. You might want to make a note on their business card based on your conversation. Later you can review your notes to determine which ones to follow up.

Make a phone call to arrange a meeting to get to know one another better.

Remember, the best networking comes from developing business relationships. The more you know about each other and your businesses, the better you can serve each other’s needs. Develope a contact file and a regular plan to help stay in touch with prospects. If you publish a newsletter, you might put them on your list to receive it. Or, you could send a brochure, which describes your products and/or business opportunity. If you happen to come across a newspaper or magazine article which may be of interest to your potential customer, you could copy it and pass it along. And, I guarantee you’ll be remembered if you call with a referral which may bring future business to your prospect.

Think of the potential business out there. What are you waiting for? Practice your commercial. Grab a stack of business cards.

And get your net working!
